From the office of the First Selectman:
I wanted to reach out to the community regarding Eversource’s proposed plan to raise rates substantially in 2023. I am hoping that PURA (Public Utilities Regulatory Authority) will aid in efforts to prevent such an increase, and in the meantime, I have sent a request to NWCOG (Northwest Council of Government) to start gaining support from the entire Northwest corner to unite and react together. Additional updates will be shared as they become available.
