Renovations  will take place at the Washington Transfer Station beginning the week  of 07/03/2022 thru 07/24/2022. Please be aware that traffic patterns  during construction will be different. Transfer Station Attendants will  direct residents where to go. The following will be in place throughout  construction. If you have any questions, please call the Transfer  Station at 860-868-0188 or the Selectmen’s Office at 860-868-2259. 

• The week of 07/03/2022 the Transfer Station will be open Tuesday (07/05), Friday (07/08) and Saturday (07/09).
• The week of 07/10/2022 the Transfer Station will be open Monday (07/11), Friday (07/15) and Saturday (07/16).
• The week of 07/17/2022 the Transfer Station will be open Monday (07/18), Friday (07/22) and Saturday (07/23). 

Normal  hours and operations will resume the week of 07/24/2022. It’s important  to note that during construction, the Transfer Station will be unable  to accept construction/demolition debris. Residents are urged to plan  accordingly. Thank you to all for your patience as we continue the work  of improving and streamlining our Transfer Station operations.
