In a continuing effort to provide superior customer service, Eversource will begin its 2022 comprehensive tree trimming program in New Canaan during the month of April. This is an effort to avoid interruption to the electric system caused by falling trees and limbs during storms.
The work will be done over the next several months by a team of licensed arborists and qualified contractors who will work with our Tree Warden. Attached please find a map that shows where work will be performed in New Canaan along with a letter from Eversource and a schematic. Our Public Works Department will provide residents with additional information about scheduling and locations as received from Eversource.
