The Waterbury Regional Chamber, in partnership with the City of Waterbury, is planning to launch a Central Business District Investment Program, a matching grant program aimed at assisting property owners with filling vacant ground floor storefronts. Funding for the program comes from $1.5 million of ARPA funding. The proposal goes to the Board of Aldermen for approval on Monday, July 18.
