Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 47 in Washington

The  Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that a milling and  resurfacing project will be performed on Route 47 in Washington, from  Route 109 to Route 202.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.10 mile of Route 47 Washington. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Monday, June 6, 2022 and end on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Monday, June 13, 2022 and be completed on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists  can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic.  Traffic control  personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists  through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
