“Collectively Inspired”
an exhibit of paintings by students of Kathleen L’Hommedieu
On view December 3 – January 14
Kathleen L’Hommedieu taught her first artist’s workshop at Old Platform 6 in Watertown, CT in 2017. These workshops evolved into classes in her studio with new students and experienced artists, who have all grown under her guidance and support.
This group show includes paintings by Mary Eddy, Kathy Flynn, Ann Marie Foran, Jan Greco, Jade Holton, Elizabeth Kaney, Lisa Mahon, Didier Malaquin, Katushka Millones and Carla Shere. Each student chooses a medium of oils, acrylics, oil pastels, watercolor or mixed medium and they are all unique in their interpretation and style.
Many of the paintings are locally inspired as they often paint en plein air at Steep Rock in Washington and Candelight Farms in New Milford.
This group of artists previously has had art exhibits at Marty’s Café, Bridgewater Library, Kent Library and Sherman Library.
