Yoga – Poses, Breath and Meditation
Taught by Roxbury’s own Jenny Schuck!
Bring a mat, blanket, and two yoga blocks if you have them.
Class is at Minor Memorial Library on Wednesdays 6-7pm starting July 6, 2022. $20 per class, or $15 per class by the month.

A well-rounded yoga practice delving into the multiple branches of yoga. Class includes a study of the body through asana (poses) to increase mobility, a study of the breath to become connected to our life force, and a study of the mind to develop self awareness and equanimity. Class is accessible to beginners; and variations of poses will be given for those who have been practicing. Please bring a yoga mat and wear stretchy or loose clothing. If possible, bring two yoga blocks and one blanket (any blanket will do). Get ready to experience joy and restfulness!
Jenny Schuck has been teaching yoga since 2009. She founded the welcoming, friendly studio Yoga Culture in Danbury and ran it for 10 years before closing in the pandemic. She is an E-RYT 500 (Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hour level) and Continuing Education Provider through Yoga Alliance. She wrote the curriculum for a Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Teacher Training and trained over 100 new yoga teachers in the western Connecticut region. She lives in Roxbury, CT, a town she adores, with her husband Kevin, two cats and a dog. She volunteers at the Animal Welfare Society of New Milford, acts as the Programming Chair for the Yoga Teachers Association of the Hudson Valley, and is on the board of New Haven Theater Company.
