The Town of New Canaan is implementing several efficiency improvements for the Transfer Station Permit application purchasing process. The updated online process will be available during July.
As a result, holders of a Transfer Station 2021-2022 permit scheduled to expire June 30th will have the permit extended through July 31, 2022.
If you have any questions, please call the Transfer Station, 203-594-3701 or email transferstation@newcanaanct.gov.
The pricing will be the same as the current year:
- $45.00 if you have a contract with an approved and registered trash hauler
- $75.00 if you do not have a contract with an approved and registered trash hauler.
If you have moved or no longer need a Transfer Station Permit, please simply email transferstation@newcanaanct.gov with a short note stating you no longer need the permit.
