Naugatuck Valley Community College: Holding Spring Open House

Naugatuck Valley Community College issued the following announcement on March 23.

WATERBURY-  Naugatuck Valley Community College is hosting a Spring Open House on  Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10 am – 1pm in Technology Hall on the  Waterbury campus. Prospective students and their families will have an  opportunity to see all the College has to offer. Faculty, staff, and  student leaders will be on hand to talk one-on-one with students and  visitors about applying to and attending NVCC.  

The  event will feature information on topics including the admissions  process and financial aid as well as PACT – Connecticut’s free community  college program. NVCC’s Technology Hall will be the entry to the Open  House with representatives from the College’s student service offices,  academic divisions, Danbury campus, and non-credit programs on hand to  meet and greet students and their families. 

Campus  tours will be conducted throughout the event with stops at the Library,  Academic Center for Excellence (ACE), Student Center, Advanced  Manufacturing Technology Center (AMTC), Hospitality Management Program,  the greenhouse, allied health labs, and other popular locations. 

The College recommends arriving at 10:00 am to take full advantage of the information sessions and tours. 

NVCC  is excited to once again host this in-person event for prospective  students who are interested in learning more about NVCC.  Blayre Millo,  Associate Director of Admissions, encourages students of all ages to  attend. “NVCC offers a wide variety of academic degrees and certificates  on our campuses. Whether you’re just graduating from high school,  thinking of going back to school, or are ready for a career change, come  check out the opportunities available to you at NVCC!”
