"Did you know Ebenezer Bassett was the first Black student at @CCSU? He later became an educator, activist, & the first Black United States Minister Resident to Haiti. In 2019, CCSU honored Mr. Bassett by renaming the Social Sciences Hall to Ebenezer D. Bassett Hall. #BHM"
