Cost of college went up for all students at the Industrial Management Training Institute

Tuition and fees rose 6.8 percent for 2018-19 at the Industrial Management Training Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Connecticut students paid $19,635 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $1,250 more than the $18,385 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 79 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 60 students received grants or scholarships totaling $319,698 and 76 students took out student loans totaling more than $658,084.

Including all undergraduates (122), 96 students used grants or scholarships totaling $551,853, and 120 students took out $926,580 in federal student loans.
