On Wednesday, March 19, former Cheshire High School standout Trinadey Santiago’s current college team, the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the New Haven Chargers.
The game took place at Spartan Field. This was their second matchup against the Chargers this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at Spartan Field against Franklin Pierce Ravens.
