On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Naugatuck High School standout Derrick Jagello’s current college team, the Southern Connecticut State Owls, won 12-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wilmington Wildcats.

The game took place at Cal Ripken Experience. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at The Ballpark at SCSU against Mercy Mavericks.
