Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that the Metro North Railroad New Canaan Branch line will be out of service from May 30 through August 2023, to expedite track improvements.  During this period, Metro North will provide bus service between New Canaan and Stamford.  When completed, the track improvements will allow for the elimination of an existing speed restriction in the Stamford area.

The Town of New Canaan will announce options for New Canaan Railroad Parking permit holders as soon as they become available and will post updates on the newcanaan.info homepage.
