Jahana Hayes, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut’s 5th District since 2019, has shared updates on significant developments through her social media platform. Her recent posts address topics ranging from healthcare enrollment to reproductive rights and infrastructure improvements.

On January 21, 2025, Hayes announced that “A record-breaking 24M people have signed up for health coverage through the Affordable Care Act during open enrollment.” She highlighted that more individuals now have health insurance than ever before.

In another post dated January 22, 2025, Hayes expressed her stance on reproductive rights: “On the 52nd anniversary of #RoevWade, I stand with all those fighting to protect reproductive freedom, here in Connecticut and across the nation. Let’s continue the fight for choice and reproductive freedom.”

Later on January 22, she noted federal funding for transportation: “ICYMI: Over $11M in federal grants for rail improvements in our state! Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we’re closing gaps and making travel easier for Fifth District residents.”
