Hayes, who succeeded Elizabeth Esty in Congress, has been actively involved in discussions addressing various socio-economic issues.
On May 7, 2025, Hayes expressed her appreciation for a conversation with Mothering Justice. Jahana Hayes was born in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1973 and currently resides in Wolcott. She graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree.
