Event Date:

Saturday, December 24, 2022 – 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Be part of a beautiful Roxbury tradition! The Roxbury Rec Commission needs volunteers to assist in placing luminaries out in the center of town on Christmas Eve between 2pm and 5pm and then picking them up on December 26th at a designated time. (Rain/snow date is New Year’s Eve)

Meet at Town Hall at 2pm.

This will be a great opportunity for volunteer groups like Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Brownies to get some community service hours as well as students at Shepaug High School. The more volunteers we have, the quicker it will get done so we can all get home and enjoy our families for the holiday. JOIN IN THE HOLIDAY FUN!
